Good hot air gas furnace?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying new hot air gas furnace and looking for the one that has good ratings. Popular ones are Carrier, Bryant, Payne, Heil, Lennox, Trane, York, Miller and Rheem. Any suggestion are most welcome. Thank you.

They are all good. You cannot go by ratings as only unhappy people give ratings and a LOT of the time they are more upset with price or the contractor than the actual product. Miller is very entry level and does mobile homes and prefab homes. There are 3 grades of furnaces. Builders grade/entry level, regular grade and deluxe. All depends how quiet you want it and what features. Most good salespeople should be able to walk you thru that. Check references and with the BBB and make sure they do a heat loss calculation so they get the proper size. If they don't and won't show it to you kick them out and get one that will or DIY.

If you are interested in a free calculator for heat loss/gain HOT 2000 looks pretty intuitive

The Armstrong Air line from Lennox is a good unit.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
