Ghost heat?

I have a problem that I was told is "ghost heat".
I have three heating zones in my home, and even if the thermostat for a zone is off and not "calling" for heat, the baseboards in that zone become quite warm.
How do I correct this problem?
thanks

I am guessing your heater zones are controled by swithing on and of water pumps for each zone. This will still allow some convection heating to accour even when off. To "TOTALY" stop this I would think some type of solinoids or valves would have to be put in the line. In most apllications this heat or warmth of the pipes should not be causing a problem
