Geothermal pump size

Hi guys iam getting ready to install the heat pump at my cabin in Canada ,i had a contractor do my lake loop for me it is apx 3000ft in total ,4 x500ft loops of 1in with about 500ft of 1 1/4 for the manifold and supply and return length,the rise up to cabin is apx 40ft to heat pump,geo heat pump size is 4 ton ,looking for size of the recirc pump or pumps required thanks need this asap .i was not using a mass tank also do i need a bronze bodied pump or is a standard cast body recirc pump fine should pump be close to heat pump or at lake level,this cabin is remote thanks for the info

Call your pump supplier and have them match up a pump to your specs.

You are using an Antifreeze solution,+ Not pure water, Correct,..??
If So,.....
An Iron pump should be fine....

I don't know how the Sizing is figured, as Heat Pumps are rarely used up here where it gets Really Cold......
Although I am very curious about your system, as I own a couple of houses on a river,+ am considering a Geothermal system for them in the future......
Finding Info about Heatpumps up in this country is Tough, 'cause there just Aren't any of them around.......
