Generator for electric heating

We do not have gas. Only source of power for lights and heating and A/C is electricity. We have been thinking about getting a generator for our house and some told us, if not gas, I can't have generator for whole house.

There's Honeywell 15kW automatic standby generator on sale and I want to get this for our house if this can work for our house.

We did installed new HVAC about 3 years ago and it is in good condition.

You can have a large propane tank installed and propane delivered. You can use this for heat directly, and for a whole house generator for your A/C and other electrical needs.

It's much more efficient to heat directly with propane than to convert it to electricity.
