GE Weathertron Rooftop Horizontal Heat Pump 1883

Still working good but compressor reading 430 volts, AC guy says shold be around 370 volt. He recomends replacing entire unit but I would like to replace the compressor. Has new squirl cage, blower, blower cap and blower relay, also replaced compressor cap. Where can I get a compressor for this unit?

Guessing he took that voltage reading across the run cap. If its not the original capacitor. good chance someone put in the wrong voltage cap. And it really should be reading around 440 volts.

that is no way to tell what kind of shape the compressor is in........ To check compressor windings integrity you need a megohmmeter.

Is that a 20 year old heat pump? I'd consider looking for replacement.
