Gas Logs


My pilot light will not stay lit. When I release the pilot button it flame goes out and the burner never lits.

I have vaccumed the pilot light area.

I have clear with a wire the first two or three inches of the line.

You may have dust in the pilot air intake. Use air to blow out this area

Sounds like a thermocouple as gone bad

It's Possible. I get calls on these seems like every winter. Dust gets in the small air hole at the pilot assy. and causes the pilot to burn a little yellow. Just enough yellow to cause the pilot to lift a little off the tip of the t. couple. Then the safety drops out
