Gas Furnace Fan Occassionally Keeps Running After Burner Shutdown


You are obviously not a REAL contractor. Down here in the South if it's attached to the house, it needs to be replaced.

"well I can see that your unit is x years old and so is that old 12 gauge copper wire that connects it to the power panel. I suspact that you wpuld want to the do the right thing and upgrade to the correct 14 gauge wire (plus installation) right?"

You'll want a duct cleaning with that to keep your family safe too...

Maybe you should just call real HVAC service company. A big add in the Yellow pages doesn't mean alot.

There are replace everything companies everywhere. But if you look around enough. You find companies that know the difference between a furnace, and an evap coil.

Gas Furnace Fan Occassionally Keeps Running After Burner Shutdown


these furnaces had problems with the relays on the control board going bad. one is a heating relay, the other is cooling relay, almost always the heating relay would stick!
