Furnace Wont Blow
HI, MY 1st TME, HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP W/ OUR FURNACE. THE PILOT LIGHT IS LIT & IT GETS READY TO START BUT DOES'NT BLOW. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT I CAN DO? :wink:

is the filter clean in the unit...if so on the stat put the FAN switch to ON and run the heating.if you have no fan selection(no AC for the house) you will have to call for service.when you say the pilot lights and it get ready to start...do you mean the main burner flame comes on.the supply fan should come on 2-4 minutes after it lights up.if you can run the fan from the stat in the ON position then set your heating on the stat and the fan will run all night,and the heat will cycle on the temperature you set it for.if you put the fan into the ON setting on the stat,and it doesn't run check your breaker for the furnace/fuse.if your not getting the main gas with the stat set to its highest setting wit no fan running could the breaker...pilot stays lit even if the breaker is tripped.

I think either the gas valve is bad or one of the safties are bad. You will need a tech to check these.
