Furnace/Thermostat not working

This morning I woke up to a 60degree house when usually it is set at 67. The furnace is a automatic start so there is no pilot. I have checked the fuse, and for power, everything there seems fine. I can turn on the fan in the fan only mode, and the red light comes on on the thermostat. If I turn the heat above the room temp I can hear the thermostat click, but nothing happens and the red light doesnt come on on the thermostat.

Would this be the thermostat or should I try something else?

It is rarely a thermostat problem. Is this thing oil or gas fired.

Gas

It has an ignitor similar to a backyard grill.

Furnace/Thermostat not working

Just figured it out. It was the damper, it must of been stuck closed or something. I took the cover off and tapped around on it, and started to hear the clicking noise, it was the damper slowly opening. As soon as that was open it fired up .

So far so good now
