what size furnace in btu will i need for 3000sq feet home whit good ins.?

tnks,but no one do a calculation.they say 80000btu at 95%efficiency should be equaly to my old 100000btu at 80%.

furnace size


The only way to know what size furnace is needed is by way of science ("good insulation" will not cut it), the manual J provided by Marty. It doesn't matter what you had or how it's comparable from 80 or 100 btu's to if it's the wrong size to begin with.

You wanted to know and you were told, plain and simple.
