Furnace & Replacement inducer blower

Hi, we have a bryant Legacy Line 80 furnace in use, which is working well enough for us. How if I I'd like to recommend a friend of mine to buy a bryant Plus 90i series model with even much higher AFUE up to 90%, would that be actually saving utility cost if the furnace may cost more?

And if replacement inducer blowers are concerned after built-in ones are broken down after years of use, can I buy replacement inducer blowers from online shops or speciality retail stores and ask contractors to replace? What are the brands and P/N of replacement ones are suitable for the 2 furnaces said above? Please advise. Thank you very much.

A 90% efficient furnace or boiler will save fuel costs for sure. Only 10% of heat is wasted and can vent to outdoors via PVC pipe. Saves on chimney wear and tear. More heat is kept in the house so you get more heat for every dollar spent. Actual break even point over higher purchase price depends upon usage. Probably 4-5 years or longer.

I like to research my inducer parts at Fasco site:

Then I purchase at: http://www.cshincorporated.com/

Some are easy to replace, others more difficult. This year I replaced the inducer fan wheel only. Inducer fan blades made of plastic fall off and unit won't work. Then, no heat. Of course, if you buy it yourself to save money, a contractor will not guarantee the part. Typically on this site, I see quoted prices of $500 for parts and labor to replace.
