Furnace Problems
I have a lennox G40 Merit series that I noticed yesterday that it is experiencing a no light condition. I heard the fan come on and then the burners came on but it would shut down without lighting. It did this a couple of times and the two led lights inside where flashing quickly. I have changed out the board a few years ago, and I can't remember if this problem was the problem back then. But any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Furnace Problems
Sequence of operation:
1) Inducer fan comes on over the burners 2)Igniter glows red hot by right burner 3)Burners light and main fan comes on Is the igniter glowing? burners lighting and then going out? If so clean the flame sensor with fine emory paper or steel wool. Sits in front of one of the burners and should look like this: |
