Furnace pilot light will not ignite - Carrier 58 GS Furnace?

Carrier 58 gs furnace. With the thermostat off and the blower set to auto the blower fan runs anyway. No matter what setting the blower stays on. I had someone turn it to heat and pump up the temperature while I was downstairs but I didn't hear any clicking or anything. The blower just turns on. The blower door was on so it isn't the door switch. The pilot won't ignite. It worked a week ago to get ready for the winter season but has now just stopped working. Any pointers is much appreciated.

Wiring diagram says "heating fan relay contact is normally closed until 110v AC is applied to furnace". I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but the heating fan really is closed at the moment. Is that why the fan is always on?

Tell what point you are at:

1. Combustion fan/induced draft fan comes on
2. Pressure hose jumps, air pressure switch closes/clicks
3. Ignitor glows
4. Gas valve opens, burners light
5. Blower motor starts

I think I have it narrowed down to the limit switch per the diagram. Getting ready to go check it.

Ok I have determined that the problem is that the VSSS Vent Safety Shut off Switch has been tripped most likely because the filter was severely clogged. I have jumped the limit control switch and there was no difference but once I jumped the VSSS everything is running fine. Next question, the manual says to reset the VSSS but it does not anywhere in here tell me how to reset it.
