furnace not putting out heat
I have a gas furnace that is not putting out heat. It does not have a pilot light. I had a technician in last night and he tested the furnace and felt that the problem was the thermostat. He reset the thermostat and we changed the batteries and heat was coming out before he left and did for about 24 hours. Now I am back to no heat (just air).

I tried turning off furnace and turning back on. I also reset the thermostat (Noma programmable) and no luck. It recognizes the temperature and shows that it has turned the heat on but the air vents only have air blowing. No heat.

What can I do?

My furnace doesn't heat but the blower works isn't much to go on. How about checking the sequence of operation and telling us which step is missing.
Inducer comes on?
Ignition system sparks or glows red hot?
Gas valve energized?
Gas present?
Flames start for any length of time?

Brand name, model and serial # would help also.

doesn't have a pilot light that is OUT:huh: or a spark ignition... not sparking...did the tech show you how to light the standing pilot?
