Furnace humidifiers

I installed new hardwood flooring in April 2009. They were perfect. Now they have huge cracks between the boards throughout. I need a furnace humidifier. My house is a 2 story 3200 sq ft home. I need advice on which furnace humidifier has the best quality, long lasting, and does the job wel.

Furnace humidifiers

The Honeywells are the best that I have installed. Steam humidifiers are very nice but also very expensive, and they also tend to overstate their output a bit.

Furnace humidifiers

How old is your house. Is it drafty?
Do you have a fireplace? or a wood stove that uses indoor air for combustion air?

If yes to any of those questions, A Truesteam is TOO small.

You'll need something in the 16 to 22 gallon a day range.
EWC autoflows come in those sizes. They are steamers, and will equire you to clean them once a year.

Post your location.
