Question

furance


my furance will not stay on we have change the inducer blower,the flame sensor. have done some cleaning. changed the filter still cets off after about 6 second. what do we need to do next? after flame go out we can smell the gas untill it cut off

furance


If its a condensing furnace. clean the trap and check for dirt on the pressure switch ports. Along with obstructions in the flue pipe and intake pipe if it has one.

What prompted you to change the inducer fan, and the flame sensor in the first place?

"Some Cleaning" could mean you cleaned the dust off the outside of the furnace. What did you actually clean? Pictures Please, some of the guys here can pick up on a problem on sight.
