FROST on HVAC?

darthsmozers Member   Join Date: Dec 2011 Posts: 73	FROST on HVAC? Here was the final answer: the new house came with 3 filters: one in the unit and one in each of two returns. Ive always changed out the one in the unit but forgot my returns had filters, too. Combined, they were restricting the air flow. All is well now :-)

beenthere An old Tradesmen   Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: PA Posts: 18,656	FROST on HVAC? Still haven't determined why the unit was in a cooling mode, or if it was stuck in a defrost mode. The indoor coil can't freeze while its heating.
