Finished Basement Really Cold during summer


I have two 2 story dwelling with finish basement, that was just finsihed. I have a drop ceiling, all HVAC mains have a drywalled (bulkhead)
The floor has vapor barrier and padding with laminated floor.
I have closed all basement vents, this did not help.
Any help on what I can do to make the rec room more confortable.

Finished Basement Really Cold during summer


I wish that mine was cold during the summer, and warm during the winter. I am lucky to get it down to 78 with the fan running all the time during the summer, and above 64 during the winter.

There are no air returns for main room, now that you mention it.
Thx for pointing that out.
What size should it be? the room is 20x40
