Fiber board duct & humidifier

I'm installing a humidifier and it looks like I will have to install it on the return side easier access & would be tight on supply side (not to mention I do not know exactly how the cooling coils are orientated inside the duct work) but my return side is fiber board ducting.

The humidifier I have was made to attach to sheet metal. Does anyone make a kit or is there a 'standard/general accepted procedure' to mounting a humidifier to fiber duct boards and not sheet metal?

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated?

Thank you!

use a 1 x1 x 1 30 gauge channel in the opening, screw the humidifier to that
