fan won't shut off

macman50 Newbie   Join Date: Dec 2012 Posts: 1	fan won't shut off I have an American Standard freedom 90 heater whose fan doesn't shut off when the heat temperature is reached. The heater does shut off, but fan keeps running.

California Posts: 4,067	fan won't shut off Most of those have a temp switch in the air box that measures the temp of the air coming off the heater. It keeps the fan going until it has cooled down enough.
