Fan / Capacitor Wiring Help Needed

Hi...just removed the fan from our Carrier AC and replaced it with an AO Smith 4MB23 from Grainger. Picked up the capacitor to go with the motor, Dayton 2MDV4. Old capacitor was GE 3FY98.

Fan is in but will not start. No real help with the wiring to be found anywhere. Dealing with yellow, black, brown & brown/white stripe wires. We understand the 2 browns are for the air flow. How the heck do we connect to the new capacitor???

When we kick inside unit on it runs, no outside fan and then the inside unit times itself out. Guessing that is because outside unit is not kicking on. When we kill breaker and then turn it back on we can hear the outside unit click so it seems to be getting power.

We changed the fan due to it starting to super squeal last night. Cut it off and left it off right away so we are hoping there is no other damage.

Any help would be appreciated. We are melting here in Florida on night #2 of no AC.

THANKS!!

Fan / Capacitor Wiring Help Needed

THANK YOU! In the light of day it was discovered that the contactor also needed to be replaced. And of course once he looked again, wiring diagram was right there.
