Exhaust duct insulation

Should the exhaust duct that goes up through my attic be wrapped in insulation? I just noticed that the snow on that 1/3 of the roof melts very fast when the furnace is running. I have plenty of insulation in the attic. have enough blow-in fiberglas to get R49.

Exhaust duct insulation

Its a double wall pipe used for venting 80% gas furnaces/boilers and water heaters.

Single wall is not permited to be used in unconditioned spaces.
