excessive furnace cycling

Gas flame turns off after 4-5 minutes, even though thermostat has not been satisfied. After blower turns off, the same cycle repeats. Service technician suspected restricted air flow, but problem persists after cleaning furnace, ducts, evaporator coils.

excessive furnace cycling

Did he do a temp rise test to see if it is within recommended specs for the furnace? A good tech will sit there and run it for 15 mins to see if it is cycling on the limit control.
