Essex Potential Relay

I am looking for an Essex Potential Relay. It is on an Intertherm Polaris RV AC Unit and the part number on the relay is 128116-2842PB. If I just new the Pick-up and Drop-out voltage it would help greatly.

Try
info@bender.org

If you can get the spec's, almost any relay of lesser voltage or lesser power can probably be made to work with a homebuilt two or three resistor interface network.

This is an example of what spec's you need to know

PICK UP MIN 223
DROP OUT MAX 150
CONTINUOUS COIL VOLTAGE 420
COIL DATA NOMINAL VA 5
COIL DATA MA 12
PICK UP MAX 252

Are you saying those are the specs for the Essex Potential Relay I referenced in my post?

No. . .sorry. . .

If these particular relay specs are not available try

In any case for whatever relay you put in there, you can use these ^ troubleshooting instructions to check for proper operation.

Here's the background info on it

Ignore the "claims" section.

If you can somehow get the motor up to speed and measure the voltage across the start winding, and knowing general motor info in the patent above, the necessary relay specs for this application can probably be worked out to within 10%, which is close enough.
