electric water heater

I am going to build a detached garage w/ in law suite about 100' from house. Assuming capacity is adequate, would this be too far to use same water heater? north Georgia.

impractical for sure.

Needs it's own water heater.
Better check with zoning and the health dept. to see if doing this is allowed and if it's going to need it's own septic.

It will work just fine, now weather it is a code violation or not is another story thou!
But it would be better to install a water heater.

Ya if you do not mind waiting 10 min. and wasting water.
