Electric Boiler Merged w/ Wood Stove Radiator

My basement is heated with in floor heat, using an electric boiler. Upstairs I have a freestanding wood stove. I am finding it difficult to push the heat down stairs even with an open stair way, ceiling fans on and my funace blower on. For the sake of a high electric bill I hesitate to leave the boiler on all the time. Is it possible to place a radiator on the stove and link it to the electric boiler system?
