duct sizing


how do i size up duct work on a 10x65 sq. space.. 2 elbows, what would total cfm be?? help.. i just started working and that was my question to figure out.. ive searched every where with no luck.. just need example on how to do this....... thanks

duct sizing


You need to learn how to use a ductulator. You can pick these up at a local sheet metal supplier. There are other factors also ie; heat and cooling loads, the number of people for fresh air requirements,static pressure. But I'll assume this is just a test question from your boss. Any supply house will gladly show you how to use one, not hard to do, good luck.

duct sizing


heat gain / loss will need to be known to determine unit size then comes duct sizing
