duct moisture

I found one of my flex supply ducts has water on it, enough that it accumulates and drips off. Don't know how long this has been happening.

What are the potential causes? I don't have much access to the duct work(no attic) but am trying to find out if this is happening in other areas. There is no moisture on the main trunk as it exits the unit, nor on the 2 short supplies off the main in the HVAC closet.

Is there an air leak near the area where the moisture is? If so, thats your cause.

Could also be the insulation in that area of the flex is damaged or missing.

I am checking for leaks, but this is a tight spot. From what I can see, the insulation is good.

A small air leak is all it takes.

What ways can I check for a leak? I can't get to the area where the flex is tied into the trunk without tearing out drywall. I would like to avoid that if possible.

The air leak would be very near to the area that has the condensation.
