Duct Mastic

aero Newbie   Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: Virginia Posts: 15	Duct Mastic I purchased Versa Grip 181 mastic from the local HVAC supply store and sealed the starting collar take offs to the supply plenum with it. The pail says to wait 48 hours to test. Is it possible to test the system sooner.

nap You talking to me?     Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: sw mi Posts: 5,407	Duct Mastic sure but if the mastic is not set, you risk a leak in the mastic.
