Duct Mastic

I purchased Versa Grip 181 mastic from the local HVAC supply store and sealed the starting collar take offs to the supply plenum with it. The pail says to wait 48 hours to test. Is it possible to test the system sooner.

Duct Mastic

sure but if the mastic is not set, you risk a leak in the mastic.
