Dryer Vent - Tape/Sealant?

I had the dryer vent out through a basement window, but I am replacing the window. I drilled a whole through the ledger board (right above the sills). The total run is a bit more then 4 feet. Little curve to it. Does it look ok?

And...

The clamps don't seem to tighten the seems enough. What is the correct type of Duct Tape to use and or sealant? (I know it's not the HDepot grey kind)

Let me know.

Thanks,

Coop

I would use aluminum tape on the hard pipe to hard pipe joints, but use a clamp on at least one flex to hard pipe joint so you can take it apart and clean it.

silicone and aluminum tape. silicone holds it in place and the tape seals it off

I also prefer solid pipe with elbows and foil tape and bands no screws.
