Hi, I have a Gibson model # GRT17G4A fridge....In the fridge itself there's a covered "thing" on the top wall blowing in cold air. Problem is,there's a constant drip coming off it. I don't know if it's condensation or what, but I'm sure keeping a sponge in the fridge is not the fix! Can ya help?
i have not worked on a gibson frig but on most other brands you would most likely have a slow drain when the unit goes into defrost some of the water come down through the air duct on otjher brands there are screws in the back panel inside the freezer compartment remove the panel there will be a tube about three eights a round poor a few cups of hot water down the tube this should clear the drain if its like other brands hope this helps
