Drain line for HVAC
 

There is one drain currently on my HVAC units. there is a spot for a second one. Is it required to have this second one and what is your suggestion for routing if required. the first one runs to a sink drain in a bathroom. Appears to properly routed.

I am currently selling the house, and my inspector said it should be run. But doesn't make sense to me since the first one is run to a sink drain line ?

the second trapping is not code..it is for installation options when the unit went in if the unit was slammed up against the side the exsisting is on to catch the duct work the optional connection would be used..it is either or on that item:whistling2:
