Does this exist? Thermostat system that links a/c & heat wirelessly?

My home has central air and radiator heat, but the thermostats are currently on different floors. I am thinking about updating them to programmable units, but don't know much of anything about thermostats. What I was hoping was that I could buy units that could talk to one another so that I could adjust the a/c downstairs and vice-versa. Is that possible?

how far apart are the boiler and the air handler? If it is feasible you can run wire from the boiler to the ahu and then use 1 stat, but you wont be able to use both up and downstairs at the same time.

Get a wireless stat. And take it to the floor you want as the seasons change. Will still need to get the A/C and heat wires to the EIM.

Yes, there are plenty of units out there that allow remote control through either a web interface or smartphone application. Also some use a remote unit that allows you to control the master unit wired in another room in the house.

A few out there are the Ecobee, Honeywell, 3m Filtrete, Nest, Proliphix, and a few others. Depends on what you want, how you want to do it, and how much you want to spend to do it.
