Do I need a whole house humidifier?

I live in Colorado. My home is 3 years old, with forced air natural gas and is well insulated. I added a Trane heat pump with VisionPro thermostat. The inside humidity runs in the high 20's to low 30's. I definitely have signs of dry air, but wonder if it is worth the $$ and maintenance to increase humidity by 5%. Will I notice the difference?

Yes, you will notice the difference.
