Don't know why you would get an Infinity system and cripple it with an Edge thermostat.

You can use the Edge. But its not as good as the Infinity.

The Infinity does total communication with the equipment. The Edge does.

The Infinity will adjust/vary blower speed per the indoor conditions. Report errors, and give more control on blower speed for humidity control. Also more blower, and stage control in heating.
