Do any of you guys recycle the metal out of refrigeration coils?

I just recycled a condenser and evap and received $160. It took me about an hour to cut it with a reciprocating saw. I remember giving units away to scrap metal guys about 5 or 6 years ago. Copper prices are still pretty decent. Is it worth it to pull the copper from the aluminum fins instead of just recycling the coil? If so, do you have any tips on how to strip the copper? I was amazed at what I could drop off there. They even accept insulated wires, brass valves, expansion valves, etc.

Yea, that is what I do to. They also pay you for the refrigeration ends.
