I've procured a digital thermostat that i'd like to use to activate a 240Vac ceiling exhaust fan at a given temperature.
The Manual for the Thermo states;
3 high speed air blowers.
Motorised valve with electrically operated wind valve.
Cotrol ventilation, cooling, warming.
Supply voltage 220VAC+/- 10%
Relay electronic contact 3A 240VAC
...and the wiring diagram shows its 6 terminals labled; N, HI, MID, LOW, VALVE, L.
Now for my questions;
do the high, mid, low, fan settings correspond to different speeds for a single fan or to switching for 3 individual fans?
Could this thermostat be used to activate and vary the speed of a speed variable ceiling fan? (if so, how would it be wired to this unit?)
...sorry but i don't know how to include the actual wiring diagram in this thread. Perhaps the info I've given you guys might be enough, otherwise the actual diagram can be downloaded at http://downloads.villageorigin.com/001480-144/
To anyone who might shed some light ... my thanks!
