Diamond 80 blower & condenser

I have a York Diamond 80, the blower & condenser won't shut off. I tried a process of elimination, first tried shutting it off at the thermostat, then tried pulling the thermostat, it still didn't shut off. I guess that rules out the thermostat. I tried shutting the breaker off for 5 minutes and turning it back on, still have the same problem. It has a Rodgers Control Board 50A50-241 York 031-01266-000. Could it be something other then the control board, like a switch? Or is it the control board. Hopefully its something simple & inexpensive.

What are the steps that should be taken to fix this?

After removing the wires from Y on the control board, and the blower is still running, but the condenser stopped.

if the stat was off the subbase and when he pulled the Y off the board the condenser went off there is still a problem why does Y have a cooling signal on it..reconnect that Y onto the board and do the same test but pull the Y off the subbase then lets see if the condenser shuts off.if it shuts off the subbase is shot..rare one if it stays one the the stat wire into the board from the stat is making contact going down into the furnace

Again removed thermostat, but this time I removed Y from the part that thermostat connects to, and both the blower & condenser went off. Guess I have to replace it.

if it didn't go off then it would of been the stat drop down to the board from the subbase,it is making a cooling call with the stat in hand no matter what the system switches are in if they are on the subbase... maybe eye ball the back or if you can pop the subbase apart to check the pins or contacts points something is making Y to cool but that is good you found it exactly the procdure a tech would do...do you have selector bar on the exsisting stat for FAN on/auto...SYSTEMS off, heat, cool auto? or are you digital all on the stat...to set.
