Dependable Ninety Two Furnace (LED solid)

Hi there I have a Dependable Ninety Two furnace that has a B18099-13 control board. It was working fine before i removed it to clean it, now the red LED comes on solid and doesn't sequence at all. I mad sure that the main limit was met, I made sure the ROS were met, I made sure that the volage in was 120v and the control volatge was 24 (actually 28v). The light comes on and the main blower comes on right away (on high) and it doesn't start its sequencing. Do you have any suggestions? Or is the board fried?
Thanks
Mike

there is an extra limit control ( that is actually a Goodman furnace) on the bottom or back of the blower or under the deck by the blower somewhere which you must have damaged or moved. open limit causes the fan to run instantly and Goodman is slightly different as they put them in series with the gas valve. you may also have a poor electrical connection to the board with one of those white molex jack plug connectors. may have to redo them and check the pins with a magnifying glass to see if one got pushed back.

I will check right now for an auxiliary limit switch.... be right back

Hey Yuri,
Is it possible that I do not have an auxiliary limit switch on bottom of blower? I cannot find one, nor is it in the schematic...

depends on the particular model of furnace but some of them it was stuck in the metal deck before the blower. just have to trace the wires and find it. your model may not have one but some did. could not pull the blower out w/o removing it and it had some cheezy spring clip holding it in.

Yuri,
Would there be any other reason to get a solid LED?
Would a faulty Stack overtemp switch be a cause?

usually a solid led means that the power is on and OK, some brands have a slow heartbeat flash instead. if an error occurs then it has to flash a code and that should be listed on the wiring diagram or a sticker on the back of one of the doors. not sure what you got going there and Goodman has several versions of that furnace. there may be rollout switches on the side of the burner box and I believe Goodman puts all their limits in series with the gas valve and the error codes may not always show up. not dangerous but different than other brands. I changed that board on my neighbors unit last year and it was 8 yrs old. may be shot now that you disturbed it.
