Just installed some new lights, and my electrician recommended putting insulation in between any of the romex wiring and the heating ducts (our inspectors tend to be sticklers). That said, I CALLED corning to confirm that the fibreglass insulation would be fine right against a duct, and as its rated for 220 degrees (states so probably F) they said yes, no problem. Looking at the bag itself it is saying leave a gap between the insulation and the ducts ... thoughts? recommendations? should I have grabbed the roxul instead?
REALLY want to get a clear answer so I can finish drywalling the ceiling this weekend lol
