Dayton gas heater

Hello to all. I just rescued a Dayton gas fired hung unit heater from a demolition site. It appears to be in near perfect condition (as well as complete). I would like to use it in my shop/garage but want to do it safely (it's attached to my house!)
I am looking for "catalog cuts" or any manufacturers info... specs, schmatics, ???
More details:
Model: 3E837
Series: 1067A
50,000 btu in
40,000 btu out
Any help or direction appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I just had the same model given to me, same problem, no manual, don't know how to install it, don't know what thermostat it uses, etc.

Anyone know if Dayton has a company web site, have been unable to find it?

Dayton is Grainger's brand. Did you check there? Here's one that's pretty close, for a start:

Have you resolved your issues with this heater? I am interested in your results as I have just picked up a nearly identical unit. Mine is a Dayton model 3E838 which I believe is a LP gas unit. I didn't receive any paperwork with mine and am interested in how/if you were able to get the unit working.
