dayton furnace


my hanging dayton propane unit heater was running fine until i blew shop air into it to clean out dust. any thoughts on why it wont run now and how to get running?

Obviously I was kidding and now that the fun is over, you'd need to start from square one. You need to confirm everything is connected and that the gas valve is clear and working as well as the ignitor.

There sould be a service data plate on that unit for you to follow.

check for 115v and 24vs connections might of knock a wire...spookypop the cover for the hi limit and the fan limit making sure the wires are landed

dayton furnace


More than likely blew dust/dirt into pilot orifice. These holes are tiny any dust accumulation would obstruct it. Only way to find out is to pull it apart.
