Question

Dayton 3E837 Parts

I need a couple of parts for my Dayton 3E837 garage heater.
I contacted Grainger and they said NLA.
Does anyone know of a cross reference that will work for the following:

Thermocouple, Dayton #7930
Limit Switch, Dayton #8698

Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry to say, but that furnace is circa mid 70's, and no surprise parts "NLA". Your only shot is trying to search any numbers that may be on the items themselves, and see if you can find a cross.

TJ, Thanks for sending the manual yesterday. I was hoping someone here has already researched the cross reference for these parts and would be willing to help a guy out.

From what I have been told, any standard thermocouple will work, just need the length of the "tube" (18, 24, 36"). On the limit switch, there should be a number like "L180-20". That should be the temperature that it opens, and closes. If you can find these numbers, it would help track down a new one.
Catalog page with thermocouples:
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg...8&Catalog=main
Catalog page with Snap Disc Limit controls:
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg...3&Catalog=main

Hopefully this will help.
