couple of more questions about drying venting

.....then i am ready to go. I had planned on sloping duct slightly up,in order to be able to exit crawlspace on band/rim board, but have decided to slope pipe down, however i will have to hammer drill through block and brick and exit through foundation by drilling multiple holes in a 4" diameter, this should be do-able, right?

Also, I plan on placing flex pipe in wall directly where vent in back of dryer will line up, then turn down into crawlspace and into hard pipe for rest of run. So the piece of flex pipe I use behind dryer will line up straight and not have an additional sideways bend, sound good?
