correct fan speed Rheem RRPL 3 ton


how do you determine the correct cooling fan speed,does it help the unit to be more efficent at slower speeds especially if you a unit that is border line too big!

How big is the home?

The fan speed is predicated on the tonnage of the ac. If the ac is too big there is really no way to make it more efficient, you can only make adjustments that are only compromises to get the best comfort out of it. The electrical rate you pay is never going to be able to be compensated for.
