convert propane pilot to electronic ignition?

Hi all, I have an old Payne (circa 1980) 60k BTU furnace that uses the propane pilot hitting the thermocouple setup, all is working well.

But this heater covers the back half of the house and only gets sporadic use. With the prices of propane here in the Northern CA foothills it seems wasteful to just leave the pilot going 24x7 for a heater that sees maybe 3-4 hours of use a week.

I'm wondering about converting the pilot system over to an electronic ignition, but am not sure what I should be looking for in the way of a part name, issues surrounding a conversion like this, etc. Could use a pointer in the right direction so that I can run with it from there. Can post photos of the valve that is currently installed if that would help you help me. Did a quick search of the site but nothing jumped out at me, prob because I'm not exactly sure of what keywords I should be using to find the info I'm after

Thanks in advance,
Mike

New gas valve & igniter/sensor system required!
You would not see any pilot savings for years because of the part replacement costs..

this looks like it will work: Honeywell Standing to Intermittent Pilot Conversion Kit (Y8610U6006)

That kit works only for some of the Honeywell pilot burners like the Q314s. Payne uses their own burner and that kit probably won't work or fit. Will NEVER save the price in gas. The pilot keeps the heat exchanger from rusting and corroding so shutting it off may promote that.
