continous fan opperation

I've read some posts on the fan relay, but this furnace does not list a fan relay.
It is a NTC7/GNL horizontal flow. Does the fan have to be off for the igniter to light the burner? The fan blows cold air only. The fan runs unless I kill power to the furnace.

What brand is it? Pics would help also. If the burner won't fire and the fan won't stop then the high temp limit by the burners may be blown from poor airflow and excessive cycling.

It is manufactured by Inter-City Products Corporation. Model NTC7/GNL. I will post a pic if I can in a bit.
There is a Tech support manual online but it does not list a fan relay, but a timer, fan

what is the issue? burner not starting or just the fan blowing cold air.

The fan runs all the time, and the burner does not ignite.

I also heard that a batch of them were overfired from day one. running 4"WC and overheating limits and blowing heat exchangers. You may want to get it checked for proper manifold gas pressure and airflow. Need a manometer to do that and some special fittings or a Pro.

I don't understand "jump out limit" iT's 14 years old. Is it time for a new one?

not necessarily. I personally and professionally don't tell posters how to jump out limits due to the fact some people may find that to be a permanent and dangerous solution to a problem and kill someone. (we have had some dangerous posters here do stuff like that unfortunately). You may want to call an experienced Pro and have him check the unit out and find out if that is the problem and why it is happening. cheaper than replacing it w/o trying to fix it.

I was thinking along those lines myself. I'll call someone in the morning.
Thanks
