condensor fan motor


i am replacing a 3 wire motor with a 4 wire motor but am confused on what to do with the extra wire

condensor fan motor


Wouldnt happen to be a brown wire would it? One wire to each side of the contactor, one wire to each side of the capacitor. Thats not all. Explain how it was wired originaly. Your going to have to remove a power wire coming from the contactor to the capacitor. You did get a new capacitor, didnt you?

i think i got it, the old capacitor had 3 wires one came from the old motor, so i took it off . i bought a new motor and capacitor and it had 2 conectors on it, the motor had 2 brown wich i put on the new capacitor and the black and white wire went on the contact. it works so i hope it is right
