lots.

unit should have at least 1-2 feet between it and any walls so it can be accessed to clean the coil and serviced. no putting it under decks either.

Depends on its BTU rating/size. Anywhere from 650 to 1200 CFM per ton/12,000BTUs.

Condensing units come with installation instructions and diagrams showing minimum distances to walls, overhangs, obstructions.

The information will include the dimensions required for servicing.
