Condenser lines
 

The tape/covering on the two lines going to my house is almost deteriorated. How do I fix this? Is this a homeowner fix or do I need to call someone? I know nothing about these things. Thanks.

Its just armoflex insulation. Can get it at any building supply and most hardware stores.

What amazes me is how anybody knew what he meant. How did you know he was referring to the electrical lines? If he/she knows nothing, how did you know they werent the suction and liquid lines? Just wondered.
